Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to complete the whole job?

The duration of the service depends on a number of factors, which are:

  • The amount of content to be moved. The more items there are to be moved the longer the move. A university student usually has less items to be moved compared to a family of seven with garage full of collectibles and old toys. Therefore, moving a university student would be quicker.
  • Access to the property. Whether there are stairs or not, and truck able  to be backed into the driveway. Most homes have driveways big enough to accommodate trucks and do not usually have stairs, which results in quicker moves.
  • Preparation. The more prepared, the quicker. It is quicker to carry 20 cups in one box than it is to carry all 20 individually.

To give a rough estimate, on average moving:

  • A one bedroom unit would take up to 2 hours
  • A two bedroom home would be completed between 2-4 hours
  • A Three bedroom home would be complete in 3-7 hours
  • A home of four or more bedroom can be completed between 5-12 hours

These estimate depend on factors mentioned above; actual duration can fall outside these ranges.

What is your refund policy?

Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not satisfied with our service, then simply send us an email and we will compensate you accordingly.

What are the payment options?

Payments are made at the completion of the job. No deposits are required. Simply place your booking and hold on to your confirmation email. We encourage our customers to pay through our EFTPOS machine using credit card, Visa, MasterCard, or debit card. You also pay cash or bank transfer via internet banking.

What am I ensured for?

We have Carriers Liability insurance package and Public Liability insurance package. These two packages protect you from:

  • Carriers Liability: Loss or damage to goods (furniture and all household belonging) while loading, unloading and in transit. You are covered for up to $500,000. For more information please contact us and request our ‘Certificate of Currency’
  • Public Liability: Cover you against loss to your property for up to $20 million
What can I do to reduce the cost?

After choosing the right package, you can still save more by checking our promotions page and see if there are any specials which are attractive to you. You can also even more by preparing better. This means, request our free boxes and make sure all the small  and loose items are placed boxes, dismantle as much furniture as you can, clear the access of any obstacles and ensure there is space for the truck upon our arrival.
